Ditko saw the world in absolutes. It was either black or white with no shades of grey. He clearly felt slighted that Lee changed the way the two men had worked to the point where Lee stopped talking to him. For Ditko it was as simple as that - you don’t talk to me, I don’t talk to you. And if you don’t talk to me, then you don’t want me to work for you.
Sometimes it really isn’t anything big to others, but a major issue to one.
