How Crumb Lost His Own Work
The most common case involving R. Crumb’s Keep On Truckin’ logo came when A.A. Sales attempted to grab the expression and logo in the mid-1970s. It wasn’t a pleasant case, but Crumb prevailed and, in 1977, after settlements and appeals, Crumb retained his copyright.
